Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 July 2026

Draft — pending legal review. This page is a placeholder for launch preparation. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and should not be relied on as final before commercial launch.

1. Information we collect

Account information — your name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password).

Content you create — the organizations, projects, milestones, task lists, tasks, comments, and files you add to Yusi Project.

Technical information — things like your IP address and request activity, used for security purposes such as rate-limiting and detecting abuse.

2. How we use your information

To provide the service itself — running your account, storing your projects, sending account-related email (verification, password reset, notifications), and keeping the product secure.

3. AI project generation and third-party processing

When you use the AI project generation feature, the project description you type in is sent to our third-party AI provider — currently Groq— to generate the draft milestones, task lists, and tasks. Groq's stated policy is not to use data submitted through its API to train its models. We only send the description you provide for that request; we do not send your password, other projects, or other organization data to the AI provider.

Nothing from an AI-generated draft is saved to your account until you review it and confirm.

4. Data sharing

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run Yusi Project (such as our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and the AI provider described above), and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service to us.

5. Data retention and deletion

Deleted projects, task lists, and tasks are held for a period before permanent deletion, so you can recover something removed by mistake. You can request full account deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your rights

You can access, export, and correct your account information from within the product, or by contacting us directly.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. Optional two-factor authentication is available for your account. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no system is completely immune to risk.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
